    Haha yes, climate change has been on my mind even more since I got Fox. I wonder how any Sheltie in the southern US tolerates the summer heat. However, my friend Rebecca's sheltie seems to do ok. She just isn't out in the heat of the day during summer.

    Spitfire and Sca do fine they just run around less during the summer. Fetching is either late in the day or early for instance. Also on extreme days they stay inside. They would probably suffer more in the cold up north as they are used to southern heat :)

    Annie Laurie became svelte from her swimming program. We used to call her our little credenza: wide and flat. Now she's a delicate tea table. :lol:

    the heat is ok for shelties so long as they are acclimated which they are when they grow up in the south. we practice agility year round outdoors- I'm the one who fades before they do................

    We just got home from the vet, where Fox weighed in at 19.6 lbs. Just fine!
