I bought a pretty thick orthopedic crate pad and now it needs to be washed. I'm concerned about putting it in the washer and dryer. Will it get all nasty and lumpy? It's probably 30-36" long.

    Anybody have suggestions for me?

I've washed pretty much all my pads but those were fleece and one was fiber filled. What does the manufacturer and reviews on like Amazon say? When I wash anything from toys to pads, though, I use a bit of soap along with hydrogen peroxide to disinfect. I do the second rinse option as well. I would read what the manufacturer recommends and then check Amazon for reviews and see if anyone talks about washing/drying.

I'm pretty sure this is from Midwest. The one that makes crates. I think that's the name. I'll check tomorrow.
