Thanks to a great tip on the forums I got a real pet stroller to use for Toby instead of the old stroller I had rigged to use for him.
After the cadillac of strollers arrived I was anxious to try it out with Toby. I discovered I still couldn't leave the top open because even tethered he still showed too much interest in trying to get out. So he rides with the windows all zipped closed. At first he still would fuss a bit, a yap here or there, a few pitiful cries. I even thought he may have mumbled something about a BMW or Mercedes type stroller , but surely I got that wrong!
He's improved on riding in the stroller and mostly likes it if his sister, Ladybug the maltese, rides along too. Now when he rides there's not much fussing, maybe a yap or two as we near home. This works great for us so Shannon can still get a faster paced walk and Toby doesn't have to be left behind at home.
