  • I'm so glad that Karen Rech introduced us at sheltie nationals. It was such a pleasure to meet you, and Ann. As I said, your online pictures were the ones that made me fall in love with shelties in the first place. I will certainly start following Sheltie Nation again. and can't wait to learn more about your sheltie adventures.
Cedar came from Cornerstone Kennel in Clinton, ME, Jan Bellaire is the breeder/owner. I'm not sure that I would get another from her. I couldn't ask for a better dog than Cedar, however, I was supposed to get his AKC papers after he was neuterd and after three calls I gave up. What I think may have happened is I had shown an interest in one dog from a different litter and when we went three weeks later I picked him from another and she had papers all made out and never changed them. I was a bit suspicious when I was signing them, but he was only going to be a pet, so it didn't matter that much. In the end, I am very very happy with what I got, so it doesn't even matter.
Thanks for letting me know about Mark, Connie. I didn't know...I'm not very good about keeping up with all the posts on this forum. I am so very sad for you and Megan. My heart is heavy for you, and I'm sending you virtual hugs. I'm just glad he was surrounded by all of you.
Connie, I was so saddened to hear about Mark. Please know that we all share in this grief. Peace be with you.
