Thank you -- isn't it amazing how the best Sheltie in the house is the one in your arms???

      Good Morning Liz,
Yes these furkids are a God send aren't they. You have had some very difficult times in your life, God Bless you and know that The furkids at the bridge are enjoying each others company until it's our time to join them. They even have toys ! I sent my forever Sheltie Jewel with her frisbee and my Mixed Tasha with her tug rope toy.:wink2: Talk soon.
      Hugs, Elaine and Kia

Hi Liz! Yep, those are my girls, Marlie and Rasha and they will be going to the walk. My son Brendan will be there helping me. Not that I really need help, he just likes to go along to see all of the dogs. Brock is like Marlie then, she is territorial at home too! Must be the older they get the less they like visitors!! Thank you for the kind note about Zoe. I understand you lost Ty in Feb. right? I'm sorry for your loss as well. It is never easy. Zoe was our 4th loss of an animal in less than 2 years. We had a sheltie/beagle mix that we lost in May of '07 at 12 and a golden retriever that we lost in June of '07 at 14. That's how we ended up with all 3 girls - I just started adopting and couldn't stop! Then in Nov. of '08 we lost our cat Oreo and then Zoe in Jan. It has been a tough 2 years!! Just makes me hug my kids and furkids that I have harder!!

Anyway, I should get. Chat soon!

I really appreciate your post Elaine. I have MS and I can't even *imagine* living this way without them. Although Ty, my forever #1 dog, died suddenly and without warning 2 months ago and both Brock and me are still reeling over it. Kai has been a godsend and has me up and more active again.

Liz, thanks for the friendship request. I'm honored. I am also disabled . Mine is a spinal injury. If I overdo anything my entire side spasms terribly and then I can't feel the mid section on my right side. I have had a few scares where I couldn't feel or use my legs for a few hours only. Thank God ! My Shelties have been a God send. My husband is also disabled due to severe heart condition. Hope all is well with you and your furkids. Thanks again for the invite. Barb is an awesome person. I see she's a friend also. I love this forum it's full of fun, education and great people.:wink2:

I'm afraid that I'm not very good on computers. I would really like to be your friend, and have you be my friend too. I just don't know if I did it right. I noticed on your "Friends" list, it says "break friendship", and I definitely don't want to do that. If I messed it up, please let me know how to fix it. Thanks a lot for your friendship request.

You know, you shouldn't feel bad about your son. I have a 17-yr. old son who had embibed before also and I always felt that if I tried to forbid him he would probably still do stuff I just wouldn't *know* about it. Its so common and I think your attitude is very healthy. But little Kai is definitely a sniffer, and once he decides to investigate he is *relentless* and looks like he's willing to dig through whatever it is (even if its me!) to get to the source...aahhh!

Uh! Oh! That doesn't sound good. Do share! I sometimes feel like such an idiot that I can't manage to control my son. He's basicly a good and intellectually gifted kid, just lamb-brained sometimes(typical teenager????)

Bacca really does go for the stuff. He can smell it a mile away. He's like a cat with catnip.
