Tagg, I remember reading Tinsel's journey with great interest over a year ago. I've been fostering dogs for almost a year and half. Yesterday I picked up a new foster. She is the first dog I've had from a puppy mill. She isn't a Sheltie she's an American Eskimo Dog, 6 years old and about 15 lbs. From what I've read she isn't the most fearful puppy mill dog but, she certainly is the most fearful dog I've ever had. Anyway I have a lot of questions about how to help "Whisper" and I was wondering if I could email you? One question is she doesn't seem to understand the water bowl. Everytime I put water in the crate she pushes her towel into the bowl. Did you experience this with Tinsel?
