Hi all! I just wanted to post pictures for others opinions. Pictures aren't perfect, and tips on better angles or whatever are welcome. Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to put the thumbnails on the post, only the links.

We've been doing the BioStim/Super Puppy with them and are enjoying every minute of puppy-hood so far. Always looking to learn more about evaluating how they are doing conformationally. We are pleased with their heads according to what we understand from Sheltie Talk. The rest we are in a wait and see until they are 6 weeks, I think.

Both will be performance dogs :) Mainly obedience, but a bit of everything we hope too!

    Thanks and Happy New Year!

Can't tell a lot at this age. Each family is different. We want dinosaur heads. :smile2:

You cant really tell drive either, of course SavvyBicksler was out of the pen before her siblings eyes opened... So maybe...

I agree at two weeks you really cant tell alot, by 6 or 7 weeks when you have the ears up and puppy all groomed out its easier to tell. We typically want blocky type heads early..

Like Rachael said though each line matures/develops at a different rate. Its best to have someone like your mentor who is familiar with the lines go over the dogs in person to make a decision at a later date!

I don't have any experience with showing shelties, but from what I've researched, Dasher has a great head profile with parallel lines. Usually you don't want an exaggerated drop in between the muzzle and forehead. Just don't take my advice on it haha Other than that, I do know for sure that they are both extremely cute! I love their markings!
