30K or bust!

Yesterday was a challenging day with lots of screw ups. False starts dropped balls and Sca jumping out of the lane. However we need 220 points for Sca to get to 30000 and become a Flyball Grand Champion!

We might not make it as there are less races today (strange format) but with a couple of dog changes including one that caused a lot of the faults and was running slow (the reason for his pulling is a sore nose ) we will be very close if not there.

Our JR pal cleared 50K yesterday and I am hoping is entering retirement. He loves doing it but his back end is lacking in strength and he is old. Poor guy just needs to get treats on his cool factor now (which he has a lot of).

Next up after this is becoming the #1 points Sheltie in District 14

 

We need 58 points and have two heats so normally it would be easy. But this weekend has been a challenge

Back home now. It will be a little while before he gets his plaque but now the pressure is even more on Spitfire to get ONE point

Next tournament we should get past the one Sheltie ahead of us in the district (lacking about 300). The onward to 40000 passing a lot of Shelties on the way.

Oh and Calliesmom we saw some new buddies, a brother and sister smerle about Spitfire's size and 8 years old. They were characters
