I was reminded that I haven't posted an update on Missy in a while. So here it goes-

Missy is now 7 and still playing flyball. She is currently #25 NAFA point earning sheltie overall. She's also been on the top 250 point earning dogs for the year the last several years (currently sitting at 107 for 2019). She went from being one of our craziest chasers to one of our most consistent dogs in the club. She rarely makes errors and can run any position. She's still speedy with a personal best of 4.102 seconds, but lately she's running in the mid 4's. She's also well on her way to earning 50k points and I estimate that will happen in the Spring, hopefully. Last Summer we competed with U-FLI, which is another flyball organization. We did singles, where it's just one dog vs another and I was trying to get the fastest time on her of all shelties. Unfortunately we missed tying the fastest time by .002 seconds. By a whisker! But she did earn fastest sheltie for 2018 so that was fun. We got a certificate and everything! We've also gotten involved with our local frisbee club and doing toss and fetch. I can't throw very far but she doesn't know that and we have a good time!
