so we've had multiple posts about losing a sheltie in places with doors (garages, closets, bathrooms, etc) and said sheltie never making a peep despite their past vocalness.
    well, Dixie spoke.......
she apparently went into the bedroom with my dad (snowbirding for the winter in the slightly warmer south) and he did not notice and closed the door when he came back out of the bedroom.
since I'm working from home, I feel like I am letting the dogs in and out all the time. so I'm on a webinar this afternoon and the boys jump up and run to the kitchen - yes, barking the whole way. I hear them and I hear Dixie- but I think she's outside and I'm trying to figure out why she's outside by herself. so I get up to let her in and then it doesn't sound like she's outside and when she barks again, I figure out that she's in the bedroom.
so I found her before I even knew she was missing......
