Willow passed her post-op assessment and has been cleared to resume her normal activities. She's a loving little creature, pleased as punch to go to the vet's office and eager to greet all who work there as long lost friends. Apparently she doesn't hold any grudges.

In spite of the all-clear, I'm going to ease her back into a full routine. I don't think the end of a week and a half of healing indicates a five-mile walk is a good way to get back to routine.

Very wise decision! So glad she was given the all-clear and that she was still her happy self at the vet's. It seems like it would take something epic to really get Willow rattled. I wish she'd rub off on Eli.... SIGH.

That is GREAT NEWS! Well, I wouldn't like to be the one to tell Willow she has to ease back into things lol

Wonderful news...Willow will be very happy! I agree, even Finnie I was told the recovery time was two weeks and that was just a neuter.

Congrats Willow! When you say ease into activity you mean like starting off with a 4-1/2 mile walk right? LOL Bc I’m pretty sure that’s her view on the matter.

You are completely correct. Having her on the lead right now is like attaching her lead to a rocket. She is bouncing with excitement.
