Shep is looking for his furever home in North CA with non-sheltie rescue

Shep is a toy size Sheltie, just eleven months old and an absolute doll. He has a huge white collar, weighs in at just under eight pounds and is ten inches at the shoulder. He has a sweet, loving personality; shy at first but warms up nicely. He's raw fed and holistically cared for so he is wonderfully healthy and should live well into his teens if not longer. Placing him with someone committed to raw feeding and holistic care for his optimal health and longevity is of primary importance to us. Just so you know, we love senior!

Oh my. This adorable dog is not right for us (we don't feed raw and they want a commitment on that) but I hope he gets snatched up quickly! Young, and so handsome, a pocket sized Sheltie! Shelties are just so uncommon in CA that I feel assured he won't linger in rescue too long. His coloring and markings are so much like our angel Brooke.

Thanks so much for posting Ann, I've been checking the So Cal Sheltie rescue site but they only have a BC and a small mixed breed for the last few months.

I thought of you when I saw this little guy, Sharon. It's too bad about the raw thing, that will be a deal breaker for many people I fear. I hope another pup finds it way to you when it's right. :hugs

:hugs Thank you Ann. I hope so too. It seems too quiet with just two.

I wish I lived closer, I'd snap this guy up! Love the small ones and I feed raw.

Yeah plus 4 would give my husband a heart attack (if Benson doesn't do it first LOL) And usually you can't take them out of state, which I never quite understood.
