The post about barky Shelties got me to thinking. Oberon gets so excited when he barks that his front feet come up off the ground -- does anybody else's Sheltie do this? It's either the force of his barking makes his feet leap or he's so excited about whatever that just barking isn't enough

Yep, my littlest Sheltie Ally did this. It did seem like the force of her bark lifted her right off the ground, LOL. She liked to pogo-stick hop while barking, as well.

Yes! Sprite does this too, it's hilarious. She's such a little tank that she can't keep her front end on the ground. It's funny that she's our smallest, but also our most bossy and the alpha of the whole group...even us! :rolleyes2:

Got me laughing because Piper will spin and bark when he's extra extra excited! He's like a bucking bronco with his front or hind legs off the ground as he spins! All he needs is a saddle!

Brodie has already taught Deacon the pogo-stick jump..... It's my least favorite thing Brodie does but I do admit, he does it quite well!

My Harley did this and it made laugh all the time! Monty doesn't do which is strange as he's half the weight Harley was so I thought being so light would make him do it. Guess it's just a personality thing or how big their bark is.

I used to call it Deska's tantrums - I swear he was stamping his feet in protest. He always saved the worst of his air-raising barking for when I was leaving.
