Chauncey's new bed

I purchased Chauncey a new Sealy Pet bed. I thought he would love it. Guess again. He posed for me by my picking him up and placing him on the bed, good acting don't you think. 3 minutes later he was off and back on his hard tile floor. Liza however thinks it is wonderful and she spends most of her days in it. She thinks it was bought for her. At least it is getting used.
Liza however has 2 round pet beds, a wire bed with a mattress people style and a fur lined teepee as well as a quilt and blanket made for her, who knew she wanted a doggy bed.

oooops no pics in that one

here they are

Too funny! Give Chauncy some time. Ours sometimes want a bed and sometimes want the floor -- and sometimes want our bed!

That's a bit like my son. At the age of fourteen months he would crawl out of his crib, take off all his clothes, and sleep naked on the hard, bare floor!

Haha! So cute! That looks similar to F-kap's bed. He wouldn't sleep on it for a wile but after a few days he decided it was ok.:rolleyes2: Liza looks like my Daisy, she was a snowshoe siamese cat I had when I was little.:smile2:

Liza is a blue point, she is 12 years old. This is one of the cats Chauncey went after. He cornered her on the patio and chased her through the house full growl and out of control. As you can see they worked it out and we're all living in harmony now. Liza actually will stand right next to him within 6 inches at dinner time as they line up waiting for dinner to be put in all the bowls. The smell each other noses and are very respectful of one another now. Liza however will no longer go out on the patio. She lived on the patio before but has never stepped out there again since that happened and we had to put her litter back in the house instead of my preferred place outside. How I get her back on the patio again I have no idea, It has been 5 months.

Ahaha I must first say that Chauncey is a great actor. He sure had me fooled in the second photo. With some time I am sure he will adore the bed.

At least someone else seems to love it ! Liza is precious. Glad they are now living in harmony after a scary start.
