I've mentioned this in posts several times, but so many people are unaware of this perk for Chewy customers that I thought it was worth giving it a dedicated post for future reference.
If you're registered with Chewy, you have an account. Anyone with a Chewy account can use their free 24/7 veterinary consult service online. I've used it several times when things happen on the weekend or after regular vet hours and I want an opinion....it can be a lifeline if your situation doesn't require an expensive trip to the emergency room but you want a professional to give you some advice.
On the Chewy home page, scroll to the top menu and click on "Services", then on "Connect with a Vet." Depending on the nature of your question, you may get a licensed vet tech or a veterinarian. I've had both and they're excellent. You can load pictures if needed too. They will also tell you if they think your situation does need an immediate vet visit. It's a terrific service and it's FREE.
