My friend who has the new Sheltie puppy works at a nursery which is (amazingly) a dog friendly place. I often have taken dogs over there while shopping. She surprised me today with this photo from the past, taken on this date about 7 years ago. Left to right, Sheltie Angels Ally, Asta, and Brooke. I confess seeing it made me gasp and then shed a few tears. Lord you just never stop missing them.

Aww that is such a keepsake Sharon, they have the cutest faces! It is surprising how much they touch our hearts and then suddenly something like this just brings it all back. They are such special souls!

Sharon and Gloria...what precious pictures...they bring tears but also a reminder of how blessed we are for every little soul who has graced our lives. If only their time with us wasn't so short.

What a lovely picture, Sharon, and a wonderful memory if bittersweet. There's something about this time of year that really does bring their spirits back. We never stop missing them.
