    so in the old system, I was able to download any PM as a txt file. I could then print that file if I wanted for reference. I haven't seen any kind of option to download or print a conversation and I wondered if it is possible to do that now.
    also the help section does not seem to have any kind of search function...........

    Yea, I find it much more clunky. Taking me forever to download posts, would be great if I could download text files instead of print screen everything.

    I ended up just copy/pasting everything into a txt document.........................

    Are you talking about the help forum itself or help section at the very bottom in the black search bar?

    the help button in the bottom black bar takes me to the help forum so either.....

    The help button in the black bar at the bottom of every page is the help feature that comes with the software. It is pretty generic and covers the functionality and features. If you want to search the help forum, you would have to: 1. be in that forum 2. then scroll to the top and use the search bar that is just under the SN logo and your username on the right. From there you check off "search this forum". As far as downloading threads as text, I'd have to look further into it.

    After digging around a bit it looks like it might be an add on option to the software. I've asked Matt to take a peak and advise if it is OK to add. :fl

    thanks- that would be awesome. I did do a work-around but being able to download would be so much easier.

    Matt helped us install an ad-on to the software. There is now the text "export thread" under the thread tools! :smile2:
