so it has finally cooled down! Gavin no longer lives in front of the fan :)
right now he is on the couch with me, curled up next to me with his head on my leg....
all is well with the world for a while....

Much cooler here too...last night the temperature went down to 8 Celsius! A little too early for that though but the dogs are definitely liking it better! Heck, I even had to switch to a comforter at night (of course I sleep with my window wide open lol. Of course downside is I have no place to sleep unless I move a dog...they like to drape themselves across the bed.

Gavin is turning into a huge bedhog. He starts out on one side of the bed and somehow ends up taking up almost all of it without ostensibly moving at all!

oh Cindy I wish Minnie would do this :hugs

I would lie completely still
    - do myself to a thin line at the very edge of the bed :wink2:
(though it would probably be a big assignment with "the thin"):ROFLMAO:

It sounds lovely.....and I love the couch cuddling. The bed bit I could live without. I had no idea the pandora's box I was opening. My sleep hasn't been undisturbed since I put up the darn ramp! But I know how good it is for Gavin to go up and down, keeping his strength up and muscles used.

I have a double bed- husband gets half, Sandstorm gets 1/4, and I get the other 1/4, lol!

So interesting... I have the opposite issue. Beau has decided the bed is a great place to sleep now. When I go upstairs and all the dogs follow me, I walk into the bedroom and there is Beau right up by my pillow on the other side! When I climb into bed he snuggles next to me. I fall asleep so fast and looked at my sleep tracker... 5-1/2 hours of deep sleep before I moved. I move less and have sounder sleep when he is on the bed with me! Then again, he does not move much to disturb me. When I woke up he was at the end of the bed.

For years I never let the dogs sleep in my bed... Beau's previous owner allowed it... Som I guess he thinks... Hey, I'm special!

Well, Gavin is up and down 4-5 times a night...Usually once when I go to bed, once around 3AM, once around 7AM, and few times in between.
sadly, it is not a quiet process.
