DST the battle is real

So DST has happened and the normal 4:30 protest that it is not supper time (5PM) is now occurring earlier. I compromised and they ate at 4:30 today. I expect this battle to go all week. Oh and Ian goes out has shifted but he is less demanding since I retired and will let me sleep in at times. Of course I can let him out and Spitfire might join him but is more likely to join me and go lay back down.

I try hard every year to prep the pups for the time change the week before by adjusting what time we do things. It works pretty well with when they get up in the morning but not so much with meals. They start with the WE WANT FOOD protests on old time. I usually hold out for maybe 30 minutes until I can't stand it. They win again! :rolleyes2:

Yup mine as well I think they must use the sun as their clocks and boy does it throw them off when we in the afternoon it is dark an hour or more before supper. I am thinking of buying mine watches-- maybe fitness watch so they can tell the CORRECT TIME.

Lucky you on the stare. Spitfire will walk up look at you and bark. And repeat until told to stop or be fed. He is VERY stubborn. Ian is a bowl rattler but he does it all day. Lick and jingle.....then sadness as it is empty :ROFLMAO:
The past few days when we’ve gone downstairs in the morning I’ve gotten he** from Piper! Barking at me, trying to bite my ankles (a useless attempt that only makes me laugh) and I think it’s all because he’s mad that I’m feeding them an hour later. He’s even been trying to go after my feet…yesterday morning I had to go onto the steps (from the sidewalk) when we were outside to stop him from attempting to grab my foot! Gotta be the time change…he’s never this bad🤣
