My hubby and Elijah practice advanced obedience with our dog club once a week. He's never really tried the rally course though. As a fund raiser we had a pay and play for rally with a mock competition. My hubby is always nervous about competing, which is why we don't really do it, but he decided to try. Well they got through the novice course without a hitch and were persuaded to try the advanced course.
I wasn't there, but apparently the only mistakes made in advanced were on my husband's part, misunderstanding the signage. Elijah did GREAT, and off leash too! YAY! He was so proud of himself.
We have a very nice group in our club, so supportive even if you don't actively compete. Looks like my guys will try it again, maybe for real! I'm proud of them both.
