Willow loves, loves, loves snow. I, on the other hand, don't enjoy shoveling and clearing off cars. Still, it's hard to not enjoy some parts of it. Willow's pleasure in freshly fallen snow it contagious. I couldn't get her to calm down enough to do her bathroom duties in the backyard so she got an early walk in the snow.

Apparently the only thing better than chasing squirrels is to chase them in the snow. I believe Willow is now 50 percent snow and 50 percent dog due to her snow eating this morning. She treats it as icing on a cake running along and scooping it up.

    What we saw this morning:

We only got a dusting of snow, by the time we went out it was gone so Cooper has yet to see snow to get a reaction. Happy to see Willow enjoying the white stuff!! :)

Beautiful pics Glenn but NO WAY am I ready for snow!!!! Brodie and Willow would most likely be bests of friends since he seems to love snow, rain, just not the hot sun. And here I am complaining because it was in the 40's yesterday.....

    I am with you, Glenn...
I am NOT a fan of the snow unless I am inside by a roaring fire with a glass of wine or hot chocolate looking out at it! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Now Willow, on the other hand, looks like she has treed a raccoon!

LOL I confess I, along with Sheep, thought your title meant discussion over getting another Sheltie!!!
Well, although you are probably not looking forward to the coming months of snow, your photos are beautiful. Even our Southern California bred and raised dogs LOVE snow when they encounter it. My Brooke went nuts eating snow too on our trip to the mountains a few years ago. She then was going nuts in the backseat of the truck when I realized, what goes in must come out! Emergency pull off the road for her.

I loved the video of Willow looking for the squirrel in the tree! Hilarious! I love winter and snow (I have one dog named "Flurry" LOL) so I welcome the first snowfall every year. That said, by February it gets a little old when everything ices over and we can't walk outside. But I do believe that Shelties have snow in their DNA. They are like kids in a toy store! It's such fun to see.

She really wanted to catch that squirrel in the tree didn’t she? Snow walks are the best walks for Shelties!
