Rough day and night yesterday, kept me awake for some time. Hubby is away and Brodie has spent the last few days running upstairs and then jumping up for me to lift him on our bed. Did he really understand last week when I told him when daddy was away he could sleep in the big bed or was it just coincidence? I caved about 11:30 last night and lifted him up to the bed. After I brushed my teeth, this is what I walked in and found. I let him stay until about 4 this morning when Sam, the Siamese, could no longer take it - he was cold and wanted to snuggle and while Brodie shared the bed just fine with Rusty, he did not take well to Sam being there. Off to his kennel he went for the rest of the night.

Boy, Gavin definitely has his side of the bed, and he does kinda move over throughout the night (I have an old fashioned double which is smaller than a regular double so we have no spare room with him up there to start!). But Brodie is claiming the entire bottom!

Confession time. I had a stiff neck all day yesterday because Cassie, Clarabelle, Cooper and Melody my Siamese decided that they wanted to sleep on my legs. I bent like a pretzel and didn't budge them all night.

Awwwww but you have such a BIG bed lol...
I have a queen size and Piper and Finnie share the bed with me quite well. Granted they do sleep wherever they want when I'm watching tv but when it's lights out and I pat the bed they move. Of course if I let them have their way id be on the floor and they'd be all stretched out too lol!
