I moved to Arizona (Phoenix/Sun City) a year ago and I'm still not that familiar with the area. Does anyone know of any reputable agencies or breeders in the area that could put me in touch with an adoptable sheltie?

I've tried petfinder.com and azsheltierescue.com, but all the dogs have been mixes, too old/disabled, or already pending adoption. I'm sure I could love any dog, but I had my heart set on a young sheltie that could be in my care for ten plus years.

Any help finding a sheltie companion would be much appreciated.
 
hi and welcome to the forums.. I am sure alot of people on here will be very helpful in any questions you might have. I myself am still learning everyday of things. Good luck on your search.
 
Welcome to the group. There are a lot of nice people on here with good advice. Sheltiemom is in AZ and she does rescue work, she may be able to help you find a good group to adopt from.

Hi there. I can get you in touch with a guy in Phoenix who has many shelties he adopts out.
