Just saw him on Petfinder & he looks so sweet. If our transport was going that way I'd get him! Anyone near Greenville TX need a sheltie? The adoption fee is really cheap so I'm hoping someone kind adopts him.

Aw, he looks sad and afraid.

He looks 100% sheltie to me, and also very handsome.

I hope he finds a loving home soon.

Maybe one of our Texas forum members lives near Greenville, Texas?

Has anyone contacted DFW Sheltie Rescue? Greenville is right in their area.

My transporter friend here in Louisiana is giving them the heads up. Sure hope he is out of there soon. Wonder what his story is. He looks great.

That is a vary handsom SHELTIE. If he's a mix than my name is Tanya Tucker! I have a friend in that area but he is strictly collie and border collie. But I'll be seeing him soon, maybe I'll change his mind.:rolleyes2:

DFW Sheltie Rescue is on the speed dial of all the city shelters in the North Texas area pretty much. They get called as soon as a sheltie comes in, and almost 100% of the time, the sheltie is pulled immediately. I was shocked when I discovered other breed rescues get "full" and stop pulling. DFW SR was never too full to pull a Sheltie. It helps that they have a core group of volunteers who can always take one more foster.

Marked as adopted now. Looked 100% to me also and the pictures were lacking. Poor guy needs some cookies and pets is all.
