happy Easter and for the first time in 11 years Piper’s birthday once again falls on Easter Sunday…he was born on Easter Sunday.
I usually take the birthday dog out to a pet store but since most everything is closed here today we’ll do that tomorrow. Today Piper will get spoiled (a normal day lol) with an extra special treat…I’m making the dog’s glutin free waffles with fruit (although my mom did suggest steak🤣)…if Piper had a choice I wonder what he’d pick?

You are spot on with the meaning of their look! I can do whatever I want with them but Finnie is the only one who has a decent expression 🤣.
Piper is 11 now! Hard to believe!
 
Well Piper has already had a cracker this morning (my mom keeps some in her nightstand drawer and he KNOWS) and a piece of a cookie plus his morning treat. And the day is young yet!
The waffles didn’t turn out…definitely a fail! The recipe called for a gluten free blend and I used coconut flour. Oh well the remainder of the mix I used a scoop and baked some cookies so it worked out in the end. They did turn out nice and fluffy and more like a cake so I kinda met my objective. And the dogs won’t complain!
