How Do Bailey's Ears Look?

Bailey's Japanese tape was falling off, so I took it out earlier this week. I think they're looking pretty good. One looks a little shorter than the other, but not that noticeable. She just turned 11 months. Should I leave them alone or continue to tape it for another month? What do you all think?

please ignore my messy bed :biggrin2:

I'm not an expert by any means. To me they look very nice. Her right ear is a little turned - is that how it is set or is she listening to something? If it is the set, you might try another month for the correction, but I think they are fine as-is.

Yea, the one on her right ear or your left (if you're at the picture) seems to be a little turned. I tried correcting it last month and it didn't seem to work.

usually we say leave it in for a year, by than they are done growing and changing. You can try leaving it out for a few days and see how they hold up.

She looks so cute with her tipped ears. Since you've made it this long, I would probably tape them until she's a year old. (Says the woman who gave up at 6 months and had a prick-eared girl by 8 months.)

I think they look good, but you might want to just keep them taped for a little longer just to be safe. She sure is a pretty girl and such a sweet expression.

Bailey truly is a little boopka. She is soooooooooooooo cute! I think her ears look great, but I gave up on the whole ear thing early and Meggie's are prick. So what do I know!

They look great! Much better than Buffy's :smile2: She is such a cutie.

I second what others have said - you've made it this long, might as well do it another month.

They've been out since Tuesday and haven't changed.

Thanks everyone! You're all right. We made it this long, what's another month? Bailey will not be happy though. She hates getting her ears taped.

I think she looks adorable--good work! One more month shouldn't be too bad.

Lexi hates it too. When the vet goes to look in her ears she is never happy. I keep having to tell her--"she isn't going to tape them!"
