I'm simply going to collect all the hair she's shedding and knit a sister for her. I think we get enough hair per day that if I save up for a couple of weeks, I may have enough for two siblings! Of course, this is the kind of thinking that mountains of fluff can generate. Just another hair-brained idea that's hair today, gone tomorrow.

Indeed--Benson looks like he's had a lion cut! The mane and tail are all that's left basically. I'm embarrassed to take him out--I'm afraid someone will think I'm abusing him. He looks so skinny with no hairs, especially next to his Koko and Fillion!

Rats, I read the title with my hopes high for a REAL sister for Willow!! I know what you mean about the hair though. It just keeps coming and coming! It was a very punny post, so thanks for the laugh.

I am seeing some dandruff along with the overwhelming amount of coat that comes out. I've taken to bringing along a coat rake on walks and comb her with it several times on each walk. If I do it inside I get massive hairballs drifting through the house.

Is dandruff a normal part of this massive shedding or should I be looking for something to treat it? How long does this stage last?
