I thought they were supposed to be sleepy after vax?

Pepper had her 1st visit to our vet today and got her 2nd set of shots. I was concerned about the lepto so the Dr. gave her an injection of benadryl before the vax. She was so shy and nervous there it surprised me. We’re home now and she’s been racing around and playing for the last hour. I expected her to pass out.

Actually as I typed this she laid down and seems to have gone to sleep at last.

She drooled like crazy in the car, I need to take her on some rides to fun places, didn’t want to until she’d had vax bc there are so many unvaccinated dogs running around grrr.
