Max has been on Nutro Ultra Holistic for a while now. I switched from the Nutro Max & it made a big difference.

    Finding right food

Best of luck on your switch. I think finding the right food your dogs, one they will actually eat and is good for them! Is got to be the hardest thing! My Kia is a very picky eater and she doesn't eat much she's always been a nibbler just as all my other animals have been. Nope, I take that back my mixed breed , Tasha was a nibbler but liked most anythingyou gave her. But they have always been healthy and Kia is doing fantastic so only God knows I guess.:biggrin2:

Sounds like a good choice for you. One important thing to remember is that if you make the switch from a supermarket brand like Purina to a premium brand it could take a bit longer for their systems to adjust, because of the difference in the quality of the ingredients, so do switch very gradually. If you go too fast you could see some looseness etc. but add a little pumpkin and be patient. It's worth the change!

well i originally tried to go to natural balance and that did not go well the gas and loose stool was too much i went through 3 bags and it was not getting any better. so hopefully this will work better.

well 24hrs on nutro and no loose poop. and shelly has not had any gas all day she eats in the morning and with the nb by 4 pm she started with the gas really bad. this morning she had nutro and no problem tonight. the puppy sara has been on it since yesterday evening as she eats 2x a day and her poop was solid all day today. :smile2:

In my humble opinion any pet food or treat like Neutro is off the list. They have a lengthy record of negative reports

I had a dog on neutro. She died. I researched Neutro. Results of research indicated multiple recalls. Neutro products made by Mars Corp. Are not reliable. My dog died 3.years ago. 3 days before Easter. Post I am responding to may be old but my research is not. She should have lived much longer. I would not put another dog on any Mars Corporation product or cat.
