Kismet in the papert,

Oh Caro I'm sorry to hear Della is unwell. Poor little thing. She's had a rough kind of life, and lucky to be in your care now. Sending healing thoughts your way and hope the biopsy is benign.

Shelties are also NOT common here, and having people chase you down from a distance when they see a fellow Sheltie owner is not unusual! Have met and made several new Sheltie friends that way here. I've let my breeder (she's an hour's drive away) know if any of her pups end up down here she can give out my contact info if someone would like play dates.

I'm sorry to hear about Della's issues. I hope it can be managed without surgery. Ruffles had GB disease before we had her gallbladder out a few weeks ago, but it wasn't a clear diagnosis until we got there and not a moment too soon. Keep us posted on Della's prognisis when you can. Sending good thoughts.

Della is under the care of Tully's internal medicine specialist so I'm hoping he will not let it get too far. I may lose the house soon but my girls are getting the best vet care!
