Nattering Springs is proud and honored to welcome Kiyomi and Toshiro, whose Dad and Mom will be away for three months while Dad has a bone marrow transplant. While they all are heartbroken at the separation, they all know that this is the only way forward to renewed health. We told them that they are like the children of London who were sent into the countryside during WWII when London was being bombed. Their Dad is fighting a battle, too, so their job to help is to Keep Calm and Sheltie On!

How wonderful of you to take on two new (if only temporary) members of your pack! Here’s hoping dad makes a fast and full recovery so the family will be reunited soon. In the meantime enjoy all the extra cuddles and kisses!

How wonderful of you to do this! I'm sure that Kiyomi and Toshiro will fit right in with your pack and the days will just fly by!

What an adorable picture! Shelties are so adaptable to the company of their own breed. Whether they meet on the street, doggie daycare, or a situation like yours... a family stay over... I am sure they will fit right in. By the look on their faces... they already do!

Bless you for opening up your heart and home. I know their owners are so relieved at their pups being safe, secure, and loved!

Great picture, Chris! They look pretty happy to be visiting. It won't be long until they realize they've arrived at Sheltie Heaven! Bless you for taking care of them.

What a really cute pair - one boy, one girl? Can't tell for sure from the names. Once the adjustment period is over I predict they will have a blast with your gang. Prayers sent yesterday for the successful transplant.

With that many now, do you do roll call every morning, Colonel Underpants???

Kiyomi is a ten year old girl, and Toshiro is a five year old boy. Thanks for the prayers!!

Colonel Underpants is treating them like visiting civilians. So far, all is peaceful.

What a great way to give to others, very cool to hear that kindness is not too 'old fashioned' in our current world. They are a beautiful pair - I hope they enjoy their vacation with you and that dad is able to receive and recuperate from treatment in peace knowing his babies are safe!
