Lately, no matter how many miles we walk, Willow expects to play in the house as soon as we get back. Her favorite games are either she follows us or we chase her round and round the main floor. She travels from the living room to the hall, to the kitchen to the living room again.

As soon as she gets her harness off she goes to fetch a stuffed toy that she takes and pushes against the legs of whoever she's trying to force into playing. If that doesn't work, she hops up beside them and whines softly with the full soulful gaze of a poor ignored puppy.

To be fair she doesn't require a long playtime, just enough to feel she had a turn as the center of someone's attention for five to ten minutes.

I know that I've put up other snippets of video with this but it makes me laugh every time.

Lol sounds like Piper! We come home after a walk and it's bark bark bark...lap around the table...bark bark bark and repeat several times! It invigorates them I think!

Go, Willow! Nothing like getting your daily steps in!
So important for animal and human.

Funny thing is, I have noticed the same in my dogs... a walk seems to give them even more energy!
