So my company had a picnic and bough all these goodies for the kids. One of the things they bought were splash bombs, or water balls. They're these soft balls that you take in the pool, they soak up water and you basically throw them at people( or at least we did). My sheltie angel, Jasmine, loved playing fetch with those balls and we always had some laying around. Well we had a ton of leftover balls, so I get to take home 12 of them for Missy! I'm so excited! Hopefully she will enjoy playing with these as much as Jasmine did!

Note- obviously these are not dog toys, and if your dog likes to destroy soft toys by tearing out the stuffing, these are not a good idea. Missy does not destroy toys and if I ever caught her trying to rip it open, I would take it away from her. Nobody wants pieces of foam around their house or in their dog's stomach!

That sounds like a lot of fun! But don't think those balls would do well at my house. F-kap would steel all of them and rip them up and Ida would swallow the pieces:rolleyes2:! Jody would be the only one I would trust with them, he takes care of his toys! We still have the stuffed squirrel his breeders gave us when he was a pup! The only damage done to it is a torn ear (courtesy of F-kap:lol:)!

The only damage that has been done to toys is from Missy tugging on a cheap toy and it ripping a little.. but she doesn't sit there and try to tear toys to pieces luckily!

Sca was good with toys Spitfire is the destroyer. He currently has a turtle that he is attempting to tear the back off of :rolleyes2:

I wouldn't trust Callie with them either. She might be ok, or she might not. At the moment her specialty is "de-squeaking" toys. I'm constantly amazed at how fast she can get those squeakers out. She doesn't usually destroy the rest of them -- at least not quickly -- but she sure doesn't want those squeakers left in place.

We picked up a couple from my parents and Olive loooooooves them.
Bonus, these (which admittedly are almost a decade and a half old) seem to be indestructable. Because there's no squeaker, she's happy to just carry it around in her mouth and bounce her jaw occasionally. The only prep I did was to wash them thoroughly (leftover chlorine and who knows what was in their attic for the last ten years) and cut off any tags.
