Lucky 13

Koko got his turn in the big chair today. His party was attended by his son, as his grandson refused to cooperate again with the seating arrangement!

He's getting a bit senile and had panic attacks at the dog park, so no more outings for Koko. He is happy staying home and is still fairly active in the backyard. He doesn't want to walk much beyond the front yard and that's ok too. When you're 13 you get to choose

 

I know--right?? Benson has no respect! Rod was manning the camera while I was trying to get them seated. After Benny jumped down twice I told Rod to hit the shutter. He says you don't wanna try to get Dork Brains up there again? No just take the shots LOLOL

 

I think so, but he can still follow my finger so he can still see. Hearing loss for sure. When we went to the park he kept going to the gate, or hid behind the trashcan. His back legs were literally shaking. I picked him up and held him in my lap sitting on a bench but he continued to shake. I leashed him up and kept him with me. After about 10 min when he didn't stop, I cut the visit short and went home. Second we got in the house he was fine. Broke my heart. He used to love to go around the park schmoozing all the seniors for pets and treats.
