I wasn't planning on using anything, but according to the rules of the place we have to. Darn! All the indoor show places we go to you have to have something under, but I just use my mom's usually... guess I'll buy my own bc we won't be going to see them again til Oct.People I know just put regular kitchen rugs or those foam squares (like for kid or puppy play areas) under their crates. I don't put anything under Missy's crate.. she's fine. But I guess it depends on if your indoors or outdoors. We're almost always indoors. Then I know people who put cardboard in between the bottom of the crate and the tray because apparently when the dogs walk on the crate it makes an annoying noise.. I never notice this so I don't do it. Then again, I sleep with a floor fan on at night so if it was making a noise, I wouldn't hear it.
If you are looking for a ground mat, I got one of mine from Clean Run.

what size mats do you guys have?? I was thinking of getting the smallest, but that doesn't make much sense to do since we'll eventually have two dogs in Agility together (in separate crates most likely). IDK if 9x9 is too big or not though.me too
you can also check places like Bed Bath and Beyond or World Market for mats

awesome! Thanks for the info. We decided 4x7 will be more than big enough for 2 crates. Thanks for helping!we have the 6 x 8 and I get four crates on it lengthwise.
9 x 9 is huge..................
