Little Tara came into rescue this afternoon. She is five months old and is an owner turn in. The couple were 72 and 75 years old and decided they wanted a puppy for a companion. Well needless to say they couldn't control her and were never able to house train her. (small wonder!) So she is now in the arms of Sheltie Rescue and will find a wonderful home soon no doubt she's just too cute for her own britches!

What are they doing outside and I'm in here!

What a sweetheart! She is so adorable, I wish I could take her home. It's too bad there wasn't someone who could have helped them but at their ages, they would probably have developed medical issues that would have interfered in their enjoyment of her. I guess I think of these things living with parents who are over 80.

She is just too cute. How nice that the owners thought enough of her to get her into a rescue instead of just dropping her off at the pound when they realized that she was more than they could handle.
