    Hi all,

My new vet uses 911 Pet Chipping for their microchipping. I have never heard of them. Does anyone know anything good/bad about the company?

I know there's a lookup company, http://www.petmicrochiplookup.org/participating_companies.aspx, and AVID/Petrac, which is what Koji and Vogue have, isn't on the list, but I know they're scannable and all that (I have the vet check every other year).

    Thoughts?

When I got Beau he was not microchipped. When I got him in for his first vet check I got him microchipped and they use HomeAgain.
    Have never used 911 microchips.

We're Home Again. As long as it's 15 digit, it's fine. Bit our friend's poodle went missing, and Home Again called as soon as someone found and reported the number from the tag. (Little s*** was up the street chilling and watching the ball game.)

Zulu has Home Again. I ask the vet to check it every year.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I'm concerned it's not a popular chip so not every scanner would be able to read it. Sigh. I need to think about this.
