I have braided leather leashes for both dogs, Sandstorm has had his for ten years! In perfect condition! Minnie has had hers for seven months! She chewed it, my fault, as I knew she liked to chew leather, I have a habit of leaving the leashes on for a few minutes after we get get home while I hang up my jacket. Well, it happened. So I ordered a rolled rope Mendoza leash from Chewy, a 4 ft one, same length as the leather ones, and the same color. I'm hoping the clip is small, it was advertised as small. Minnie, be more like Sandstorm. Don't chew your new leash!!
Minnie here! i is still a gud puppy! the lether was yummy and i was hungry!

Big Minnie to you puppy Minnie: :hugs

Really a stupid idea to eat your leash
    - how would you get on walks :confused2:

you are so lucky that you have such a sweet mom
that buys you a new one this time.

My leather leash is more than 30 years old,
think if my former siblings had eaten it
    - then I would never have gone for walks :gaah

Ha ha, you trusted a puppy and adolescent with leather - you know you only have yourself to blame.

After all, it's just one long rawhide chew!

OH no Minnie, you don't chew the leash no matter how yummy it tastes! Lol
I made the same mistake with Piper when he was a pup...chewed through it in no time lol.

Oh dear, I'm sure those leashes aren't cheap! I have no doubt that Elijah would do the same.... and he's almost 3!

Wilow, when she had her puppy teeth managed to leave chew marks on a retractable leash, by grabbing it as we walked. We didn't trust it to contain her after the chewing as it unraveled a bit of braid. We bought her a new one. She may still grab it from time to time but her adult teeth don't seem to mark it at all.

Oh Minnie, it was just too tempting not to give it a little chew :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:. I'm pleased to see I'm not the only one living with a little trouble maker ;)
