Cali's litter brother Oliver was over at my girlfriends parents house for a visit when he got off leash and disappeared :( We got there in enough time with Cali to try and convince him to come inside but for some very strange reason he was spooked and took off down the driveway, into the woods and has not been seen since :( We have searched for the past 5 hours and are pooped and are going to retire for the evening.

I feel so bad because it is cold and raining pretty hard outside now. He never even had a chance to eat his dinner before he took off running. We live very close to where he got loose and I still find myself every 15 or so minutes walking to the window and turning on the flood lights hoping to see the little guy in the yard. I am really hoping that the daylight will bring him back home in the morning.

Unfortunately he had no tags or chip (I have already reamed her brother for it..) Everyone please give your pups a extra hug this evening and say a prayer for little Oliver to make it home safe! Anybody in the Harford County MD (Belcamp/Riverside) area please keep your eyes out for a male Sable sheltie! :(

man its really starting to hit me extra hard as I try to fall asleep. My GF and I were supposed to adopt the poor little guy within the next few months because his owners are expecting another baby around the first of next year and just did not feel like they were going to be able to give him the attention he needed afterwards :( Even though Cali did not see him very often, she has been pacing (even at 4am) like something is bothering her. I have this horrible feeling in my stomach so please everyone say a prayer for Oliver this evening/morning :(

Oh no! It's always terrible when they get lost but more so when the weather is bad.Prayers that he comes back or you find him soon.

Sending prayers your way for the return of Oliver really soon, Mike. Good luck with the search!

I am praying for all of you and Oliver!

Have you contacted your local sheltie rescue? Some sheltie rescues will help find lost shelties since they know they are breed that has to be caught so carefully.
