I took Misty to her first indoor show yesterday, not sure how she'd react. It's in a huge building, tons of noise, lots of barking dogs and loudspeakers. Most of my other girls have not been fond of the atmosphere. True to her great-grandma Checkers' heritage, Misty handled it like a pro, in a large field of 17 girls. And for icing on the cake, she won her class in some stiff competition, and went on to take Major Reserve Winner in a group of very competitive other class winners, many with pro handlers! And the judge spent considerable time looking between Misty and the dog she eventually named the top Winner before picking. I'm still floating. So proud of this little girl!
