Mom's leaving me for a whole week!!!!

Gypsy here and I would like to place a grievance!! Mom says she is leaving for Myrtle Beach this morning to see her Sisters!! What are Sisters? They can't be important as me. A nice lady named Lori came here tonight and will be staying until Mom gets back. She works at my vets office, so Mom says I'll be in good hands. I even tried my best smile to get her to stay but she said she might be trying to find us a new house by the Ocean. She said the Ocean is big so I hope it is kept on a leash unlike my many dog neighbors here. Please pray I don't miss my Mom too much and do well.

Oh noooo! I hope u put on your saddest puppy eyes eva! My mum tried to do that to us once and so I howled and howled all night until the neighbour had to come over and sit on the couch and cuddle me all nite. Which was ok I guess. Hope this Lori Lady is a good cuddler.
 
Aww Gypsy,I know you will miss her,and she is going to miss you to. I hear Lori is a really nice lady,and she will take the best care of you.
Don't forget to show her where those treats are ok!!

Maybe soon,you will have a new home by the ocean.I saw pictures of the beautiful houses that your mom is going to look at.You will love living in SC,plus you won't be that far from us,and we can have play dates!!

A week is too many Gypsy!! Ask the nice lady for cookies. I live by the ocean. the ocean cannot be on a leash. It is big water. It is very big. It moves alot. mom and dad like to go in it. It makes noise so I bark at it. I wud call the union Gypsy.

A week is a long time. Our Mom went away for a day last month and our Auntie came to stay with us. My silly brother Toby cried for hours after Mom left. Me and Baxter wasn't worried though because we've had our Auntie take care of us before and we know she's fun. We had a great time she played with us and we got lots of treats. I gotta warn you though,be careful of the treats. My mom doesn't give us a lot of treats so I'm not used to it and I got a sick tummy and barfed on Mom's rugs. The treats were great but the sick tummy was not fun. Mom didn't get mad at me, she said it wasn't my fault cause my tummy was sick.

I know your Mom loves you a bunch and that Lori lady must be real nice or your Mom would not leave you with her. I'm sure she will take very good care of you and your Mom will be back before you know it. Maybe your Mom will be sad about leaving you and might bring you a present when she comes back.
 
It sounds like you are in great hands, Gypsy.

Your mom has had a tough year and definitely deserves the break and a little time with her sisters. And I am sure that the beach is an added plus!
 
You be brave Gypsy and hopefully the week will go quickly. Your mom is going to miss you so much as well but a house by the ocean would be wonderful for you, especially with your friends living close enough for play dates!! Maybe you can steal one of mom's shirts to sleep with while she is gone!:winkgrin:
