Tomorrow morning on Sheltie Nation I will formally announce the release of the new Sheltie Angels section of Sheltie Nation. However, I wanted to give all the forum members a sneak peek tonight! :wink2:

If you have a Sheltie Angel, please feel free to leave a memorial. There are only 3 test memorials that are up right now so let's get some fur babies added to keep my Sheltie Angel Toby, company.

All basic memorials are free and will be moderated before being released to the Angels site. There is also the ability to "light a memorial candle" for anyone's angel that you would like. Candles operate like the comments on the blog, so they will also be moderated by me to prevent any spam.

There is also an optional angel photo gallery upgrade option. A one time cost of 15.00 will cover hosting costs of your gallery of angel pictures forever. Forum Premium Members will get this upgrade for free.

Please explore this new section of Sheltie Nation and let me know what you think! Suggestions and feedback are welcome.

    Thanks, Kelly!

Thanks for the memorial page, Kelly. I had posted a page for my Toca years ago on Sheltie Angels Among Us and missed visiting him there when it was taken down. Bless you for helping us remember our babies this way. I smile when I think of all of our furkids playing together at the Bridge - your Toby, Trevor, my Toca and so many others. :smile2:

Thank you for doing this Kelly. I remember the Sheltie Angels Among Us website. I loved it, although it made me cry. I hadn't realised it had been taken down because I haven't been brave enough to look for a while.

Now I have my own Sheltie Angel and really can appreciate how much the support of the forum means when you go through that pain. It helps so much to share with people who know exactly how you feel. :hugs

I've posted a tribute to my Yogi to join those already on there. Cried lots writing it but good to remember all the happy times again and put them in to words.

How do we look at all the memorials besides just the three newest?

If you just click on the search tab on the right without filling anything in it will bring them all up.

May I suggest that as an alternative to date of birth, the date of adoption might be used as many/most rescue Shelties only have a guesstimate as to when they were born. Thanks for considering this. Will
