New toy for Keiran

I picked up a special toy for Keiran. He won't get it until he finishes his Level 1 title in agility in two weeks.

Inside that tangle of fleece is a Mini Holey Roller.

A friend of mine makes them, both with and without the tug, among other fleece toys. I'll post a link to her website when I get home.
 
Very cool toy! Enzo's favorite is the holee roller. Unfortunately he can't have any fleece toys because he nibbles at it and eats the ends!
 
I have to monitor Keiran with them for similar reasons, hence the tug option so I can attempt to control the play with it.
 
Not to sound stupid or critical, but I don't get it? Why would you want a toy like that? Because it "gives" a little when they bite on it? Hmm.. Missy might like that. Although she pretty much loves all soft toys.
 
Why? Because Keiran likes to tug and I like the softer tugs for playing with him. The ball at the end will also allow me to have some weight so we can also play fetch along with tug. Since there's also a holee roller in the middle, I'll still have a toy if/when all the fleece ends up coming off of it.

Then there's also the my puppy is spoiled rotten factor. :D
 
Silaria - Minnie also has such one but a bit longer and without the tug
- and she's had it since she was 14 weeks and now she is 2 years old and still loves it :yes:.

The ends are slightly shorter:lol: but otherwise it is intact and Minnie is a destroyer of toys if she wants..

I can also see the appeal if you have a softer mouthed dog but want something with some bulk that you can throw.
