so our club had our annual trial a couple weeks ago.
Destin was in rally on Sat
and novice b obedience both Sat and Sun
Destin failed to Q in obedience on Sunday because he stood up from his group sit stay seconds before the judge said return to your dog. but this was his first weekend doing regular novice obedience so I was very proud of him.
Jocu was in rally on Sun
the brown dogs were entered in Brace but they were both limping a little Sunday morning so I elected to let them rest.

Awesome runs! Destin is doing really good in obedience! Sorry he broke his stay...hard when they do that in the ring but he’s looking great!.
Jocu did great in Rally! You must be very proud of your dogs!

Good call -- gotta keep the athletes healthy. Sometimes they just don't remember the rules. Colonel Underpants did that once in a while in Rally. On his last Rally competition, he just stopped in the middle and looked up at me. "Mom, I don't want to compete any more." I retired him, and we only did classes, which he loved. Then, of course, the leg went, and that ended his career.

well, we hadn't practiced the stay part as much as we should have- I entered him because I thought he was doing pretty well in practice so the fact that we actually got a Q was pretty awesome.
yeah- gotta teach the excellent signs as they both have their RA titles....

yeah- they're 12 so they don't really have to compete in anything anymore. I have plans to officially retire Dixie from agility in Feb.
