So, I invited a friend over last night.
We had drinks and dinner. Just kicked backed and talked.

We moved into the sunroom to eat.
After we left the family room I could see Liam had jumped up on the sofa to sniff where my friend was sitting.

I was stunned at what he did next...
He lifted his leg and proceeded to pee right on that spot! :gaah:gaah

I leapt off the sunroom chair screaming NOoooo at him! Grabbed him by the ruff and proceeded to reprimand him. Bad Dog!!! :hide

What xxxx got into him for doing that! I should add she owns two fixed female Dalmatians.

I know he is still interacted male, but really... jumping on the sofa to mark?

Thank goodness I have several throws on the sofa to protect it from dog fur. Little did I know it would be dog pee I would need to protect it from!!

He is sleeping on the sofa this morning! I thought dog won’t sleep where they relieve themselves!

Remind me how old he is? Adolescent?

Maybe he was channeling his inner Deska, not that Mr D ever peed on the couch, but he did like to hump the ladies at parties!

Oh my, at least he is not doing that!

He is 1 year and 2 months now.
Waiting for the 18 month timeline to do the big snip!

Poor boy, I feel sorry for him already!:uhoh:

Sounds like marking his turf to me. Your friend's clothes probably carried the scent of her dogs which stayed on the couch. Boys are especially territorial and I bet that's what was going through his little doggie brain. Thank goodness you had throws! Cleaning furniture is no fun. When Flurry was being housetrained she pooped on the living room couch. I was apoplectic! I covered the couches in plastic and throws and had gates all over the place. Thank goodness she got over THAT.
