During today's walk, Willow heeled past an Australian Shepherd going in the opposite direction. He was very interested in Willow and turned and tried to pull his Dad back to Willow. We kept walking and I heard the Dad as we walked away, "She's too beautiful for you, Oscar."

Ah, if only he knew. Willow loves every dog she sees and will play with anyone that's allowed to get near her.

We carried on to the dog park where she found some lovely friends and ran and ran and ran. It was great to see her stretching out and hurtling along.

LOL Oscar has good taste! Glad she got her legs stretched at the dog park. Meadow and Willow had another playdate today, this Willow will be 6 months in a couple of weeks, she is a very striking red sable. The girls are absolute besties! They love to run and chase, but then they lie down near each other to rest as well. Super cute.

That's not what Willow thinks. She thinks every dog will play with her if she is allowed to approach them. She has friends she runs with that are everything imaginable, a standard poodle, a couple of labs, a huge malamute through to a tiny little puppy bishon frise and lots more. One sammy that we see regularly plops his butt down and won't move until he's allowed to see her no matter how hard his owner tries to lead him away. My little social butterfly.

She is popular but not, unfortunately, universally loved. There are some dogs she's not allowed to approach due to them showing obvious aggression. You really can't win them all, even if you're cute little Sheltie. :)
