Pico has an overbite

So you don't see the lower teethies..
The lower canines are a tad wonky to fit into the upper jaw.
looks fine when the mouth is closed, but when it is open you can see they are tilted a bit
at 5 months, his rear molars are still coming in.

Well, it's very slight anyway. I believe the upper and lower jaws actually grow at different rates (I think I heard that from our breeder). I can't imagine it will really be a big issue.

Sharon is right, Cindy. That's not really a significant overbite and looks pretty normal for his age. I suspect growth will take care of it. You might ask what your vet thinks when next you see him to put your mind at ease.

now worried about it, just dont think Gavin had this....might be why the breeder passed on him.

Just like Kismet and why I had to stop showing her - mouse mouth. I don't think the breeders can know that the teeth are going like that when they are pups as I got Kismet specifically for showing and had to pull her once the adult teeth come through.

Have to warn you, don't know if it's the teeth or not but Ms Kis is still a big chewer

I agree that you should ask your vet about it. I can understand your worry as it was the shock of my life when Piper’s canines came in lance! Shocked the heck out of me and of course I knew absolutely nothing about it. My vet was wonderful…insisted we wait until he was over a year (we were going to pull them on the advice of a different vet) and it all worked out great, we ended up only removing an insizor on each side (2 total).

Yeah it is small and the canines match up ok so not an issue there. Our girl has the same thing, she has some difficulty picking up some food and her canines are closer to not meshing correctly but fortunately they do, barely.
