Please be so careful with bags

Last night, I was shocked and saddened to see a picture of Emma's beautiful beautiful niece, Missy, on a page on facebook about preventing suffocation in pets. She was found with a chip bag on her head. Such a loss.

I was lucky with Liam- one time I found him with a chip bag he had actually managed to turn inside out. Another time with a full bag of chips he had ripped open from the side.

Just a reminder to be so careful with anything - bags, twist ties, chunks of food, branches, the plastic that hold tins of pop together - you name it, it can cause devastation to a family and their pet.

What a tragedy...Missy's family must be devastated. A very sad reminder about the danger to our little ones from simple everyday things like a chip bag.

So sad. Just today Roxie was doing some serious zoomies after her bath & got her head into the bow-tied corner ties on the sofa slipcover, she wasn't in distress but if she'd tried to get out & we didn't see, she could have been in real trouble. It's so frightening how quickly these accidents can happen.

Tragic, no one should discover their dog asphyxiated like that. I will continue to confine my dogs when I'm not home.
