Willow barks at a lot of things and we have evolved a set of charges for silence to a near-contractual level. Here are a few of them. All payments are pieces of kibble.

Blinds - up or down 1
Broom use - 0 she watches but no longer barks
Carrying the silver tray from the kitchen to the dining room - two, one before you lift it, the second once you put it on the table
Soda Stream - 2 or 3 depending how many CO2 shots are used - one before you attach the bottle, one for each charge of the bottle
Use the blender - not enough kibble in the world to stop barking until it is turned off
    Use Roomba - 0 now

Ah, Willow clearly rules the house... There are other fees too but I think that's embarrassing enough

Oh how I laughed, ruefully! I think many of us if not all know exactly the penance we pay to run anything with a motor especially. My hubby now grinds his coffee in the garage! :ROFLMAO:

Willow likely thinks she is earning the mighty control it takes to STOP barking.....

I like your pricing chart but the blender cost got me laughing!
Reminds me of Piper and the coffee grinder (that’s the worst…even in a down stay he’ll bark)!
Food processor, instant pot, blender ALL the dogs bark. And the step stool…funny because I’ve never fallen off it. Only danger is them knocking me off when they’re all barking at me:ROFLMAO:
I’ll have to try your method (but with veggies) except with 3 dogs I think I’ll have to buy in bulk at the grocery store first:lol:

Had to laugh at the soda stream- one of our shelties goes bananas when I move the unit out to charge a bottle and yup each squirt bring more barks. When I take the charged bottle out of the refrig to get a drink the barks begin as soon as I grab the bottle and that psssst when you take the cap of is another monster to be dealt with...the blender is Armageddon and must be fought with every ounce of sheltie strength--even worse than the broom monster. Kudos to you that you have managed to quell some of Willows "enthusiasm".

Piper barks when I use the canned whipped cream (yup…that pssst noise) and now because of that he barks at anything I have to shake (just like the canned whipped cream). Oh and now he gets Finnie doing it…the more the merrier :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Neither of my dogs bark at anything indoors.

Outdoors - now that's another story. You can actually hear them from outside the house as they are barking like mad at pretty much anything that moves.

Blueberry is the worst indoors! She hears things whenever we eat..I guess she’s afraid of someone stealing it:ROFLMAO:
