Does anyone have this puzzle toy if so how do I help Cooper figure it out? He has 3 other puzzles he goes through in no time, but this one has him stumped. He has to pull out the little white loop to unlock the wedge and then move it over to the side (kibble under it). We tried to put some peanut butter (just a tiny bit) but that didn’t help! lol Thoughts?

nope- but he looks very cute working it:yes:
with 4, I never invested in those type of toys- someone would always be getting in trouble over it.......

If you try putting a dash of peanut butter on the edge of the loop, he may lick it enough to move the loop. I have a few of the puzzle toys I use for my dogs when they are confined after surgeries and some of them are definitely better than others. They're either too easy or too hard!

We did try the PB Ann, but he just licked it off. Someone on another Sheltie page suggested tying strings on the white bits that he may pull and to divide the puzzle in stages. I agree the other 2 puzzle toy he goes through in a flash. The owner of our new kennel does lots of nose work with Coop as well as puzzles she said he’s excellent at it! lol

How about showing him or saying pull while you open it? Maybe he'll get the idea? Or tie a shoelace to it and get him to pull that, once he has the idea remove the shoelace.

he started to get a bit frustrated and laid in front of it so Steve (hubby) unlocked a few for him and right away he could move the wedge over to get the kibble. It’s all about the food!! lol
